Taylor Griffin is a first-generation college student from Racine, WI. She graduated with her Bachelors in Social Work in 2017 and her Masters in Social Work in 2018 with a concentration in mental health from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. 

In 2018, Taylor started her career as a Social Worker working for Child Protective Services in Milwaukee, WI. She currently works as a Mental Health Provider/Therapist. Taylor has a wide range of experience from working with college students, youth justice, corrections, and children and families.

While attending school at UW-Oshkosh, Taylor worked in Career Services, Admissions, and as a First Year Scholar Group Leader. While working in Career Services she assisted students with mock interviews and selecting proper attire for interviews.  In the Admissions department Taylor provided students with resources and marketed the advantages of attending college. Also, she gave college tours on campus and provided presentations to several groups of high school students.  As a First Year Scholars Group Leader she conducted weekly groups for college students to assist them with transition to the college life. The groups discussed time management, choosing a major, test taking skills, study skills, using campus resources, financial aid and much more. 

Taylor is passionate about helping her community and volunteers her time mentoring children of close family and friends. Taylor enjoys seeing the positive impact that she has on shaping the youth that she works with and believes that it is the ultimate reward.
